Today, Audubon Zoo is 58 acres of animals in their natural habitats. Audubon Zoo is consistently one of the country’s top-ranked zoos, voted as one of the top ten zoos in the country in the USA Today “10Best” reader poll and ranked as one of the top things to do in New Orleans. Some of the best are the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit, the Sea Lions, the World of Primates, Jaguar Jungle, the White Tigers, the Rhinos, the Dragon's Lair, and Monkey Hill. We were clearly informed before purchasing tickets that the zoo stays open in the rain and there were no refunds due to weather.
