Fiona Dourif's Nica returns in this successor to Curse after she is allegedly found guilty in the murder of her family which needless to say is not true in slightest as the horror icon himself Chucky did in fact do those said killings, but she abides by that and is dispatched to a mental institution as she is promptly declared criminally insane for her presumed actions. Andy makes a return in this one, except he looks like a vanilla midget wrestler, and is loaded with guns.

But when her psychiatrist introduces a new therapeutic “tool” to facilitate his patients’ group sessions — an all-too-familiar “Good Guy” doll with an innocently smiling face — a string of grisly deaths begins to plague the asylum, and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all. The world is such a wastebin of depression (Sami Zayn just turned heel) but there's something reassuring about chucky and tiffany continuing to kill people. It’s not better than Cult of Chucky brings out a relatively slight improvement over its predecessor mostly due to the fact that it brought out even more of the worthy ambitions that took place during Curse and establishes them to even further use here particularly well throughout. Along the way several more Good Guy dolls show up.It's tongue-and-cheek and highly enjoyable.
