I bought the record when it first came out and played it to death inside of 6 months. This is a review to address the sound quality of the core 7 CD releases 1997 vs 2008 without concern for bonus tracks, extended literature or remixes forced from lost tape.
If you like the Moody Blues I think you'll like the content of this CD.

However, this mix gives a nice sense of space to an album which contains some great songs.
This is my favourite album out of the magnificent seven,sound quality is very good better than some of the other remasters/
I always find Pinder's "When you're a free man" very moving and it is rendered very well here.

I bought this to replace the old vinyl I had, which was jumping a bit, but noticed that the music seemed to sound flatter, I put isn’t life strange on against the old vinyl, and the old vinyl sounds more alive, very disappointed.
