Many millennials grew up reading Spinelli books and were immediately excited to see it become a film. This is a comic book movie, and I’ve never been a comic book guy.
It would be a great pick if you are fond of books with a lot of pictures but for me it was just a 3-star ☺It was a cute read. However basing from the character section alone, I found the Movie Guide's entry more informative?Like the Character Guide, it's nice to have/read but not necessary. For instance, I like that "Mooncalf" translates to "Veaudelune", I believe.
Left out several key points of the film(Grindelwald, for example) and got some facts wrong. "After a bad breakup, former Christmas lover Marie (Lowndes) loses her Christmas spirit. This is a movie that features not one but two Manic Pixie Dream Girls, albeit in different shades of glitter.
With Jessica Lowndes, Brendan Penny, Farah Merani, Stephen Huszar. 80. It is a great companion book to help better appreciate the movie! It was a quick read, but it was a good way to practice some reading in French, which I always seem to neglect doing! LOL so this helped a bit.

All in all was an okay book with some great photos.It was nice and had a lot of information about the movie but I think the major portion was filled with pictures. Actually really enjoyed this one! Jessica Biel plays the first: a floppy hat-wearing, Jeep-driving, free spirit of an artist named Penny.

It is certainly aimed more towards children. 1338116835 Arguably the most memorable and impactful scene from the book was taken out, and the tone of the story was modified. Provided a little bit of everything such as characters, locations, artifacts, spells, creatures, wands and more! I can't ask for much more. Newt Scamander becomes "Norbert Dragonneau"!

I really like this book it tells me lots of things about fantastic beast that I did'n realise.Nice book, gives a good reminder of what was in the movie but it does not have anythimg more to give in terms of information that the movie. I could hardly understand what Newt was saying when he was naming all the magical creatures. If his other book Character Guide focus more on every character's detail, this book intent to focus more on another things such as the locations, the spells, the artifacts, and of course the main character and the magical … There are some strange parts though - where I am not sure if an error has been made or if maybe they wrote it before the film was finished and it changed, or scenes were deleted.
