Janice is a wonderful and very professional maitre'd. So we had our wedding here on july 22nd 2018. So, why am I here, you ask? Once that was all said and done, we were able to continue our wedding planning and from the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony and reception Aaron, Susan and team were truly amazing. The Ceremony was outside (thank goodness the weather helped us out and stayed sunny and beautiful), and everything was set up perfectly. I called all over and went to several in the area, I got a package that included so much food for the dollar. So what was wrong with paying tribute to our parents with a brunch? The Buttonwood Manor is gorgeous!!!! We had a reservation. I'm 100% sure that our wedding day went so well because of their exemplary service. The Buttonwood took the time out to give me an amazing wedding it might not have the huge 2 or 3 story foyers that some look for when viewing venues but the Buttonwood makes up for it in the quality they put into the events and with also have great photo op locations around the premises. The Buttonwood was fantastic. It made our guests happy and to see that as a bride and groom made us even happier with our decision to have our wedding here!
I give the new owners of Buttonwood Manor credit for making an attempt in revitalizing Buttonwood Manor but … Then call ahead to inquire about making a reservation!ea–thin or traditional crust! They had the entire event under control from the day we booked them right up until the last guest left after the wedding. I had so many guests telling me the cocktail hour had so much food it was unbelievable. The food is fantastic and the pricing was reasonable. The beef was tough and barely chewable. Honestly, yes they are very expensive for bagels, especially if you order a sandwich there, but you are paying for the quality. Every e-mail was answered immediately, and every question was given a ton of answers and choices too. When you approach from the unkempt parking lot, it looks like a Wendy's from the 1980's. We truly loved our wedding experience at Buttonwood Manor! The service was very good and attentive to our group (6). Salad came before cold appetizers! The Buttonwood will always be special and will be my first recommendation for people to see and experience.
And all this for $37.00 PLUS 20% gratuity...please avoid this fraudulent and outright disgusting venue if possible.Worse Easter Dinner of my life! To top it all off, Buttonwood is probably the most reasonably priced venue in Monmouth County. Itbwas more than we could of asked for. At the end of it, we both apologized countless times for this experience. We use only the finest (and when possible, local) ingredients for all our appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, salads and pizza. The people who set up the room for my evening ceremony did a great job, it looked absolutely beautiful. Second year we've eaten here for the holiday. Well this restaurant was not only spotless the buffet brunch was delicious.
I was a clueless bride and I really made them work-and they did it with a smile. There is so much staff available on the day of that anytime you need anything, well, they are right there. Buckle up! We are still getting rave reviews on the food and cake! Thank you Buttonwood Manor for the most amazing wedding! You can sit down for a pleasant lunch or dinner in one of our dining rooms or watch the game at our spacious bar with a large variety of cocktails, wines and beers. The place was set up beautifully and there wasn’t anything that hadn’t been given a special touch. We highly recommend The Buttonwood Manor for any event.
MJ's in Monmouth Beach NOW OPEN! due to the covid 19 virus several shows have been postponed or canceled so far this year. The busboy/girl refilled the coffee and water for us. My daughters wedding was beautiful. Took my wife here for Mother's day brunch and we were so disappointed with the decor, service and food of this place. All 7 MJ's Locations Offering Outside Dining! The…""My boyfriend and I went here on Saturday (7/20/13) for date night. The staff was friendly and assisted in any manner. The cocktail room and reception room were separate, 5 hrs open bar, dance area plus outside patio for the guys with their cigars.. All overlooking the lake which the fountain lights up at night. MJ`s Restaurant, Bar & Grill is now open for Outdoor Dining at all 7 locations.
