Friendly service on my visit. The tour leads us into the Medieval town centre, through streets with beautiful half-timbered houses, and past Brattenstein Castle, which provides a romantic backdrop for Röttingen’s annual Franconian festival. Enjoy guided tours of breweries including the Maisel Brewery and the Aktien Brewery, and savor delicious meals in local Franconian restaurants. Inside its quite cosy and busy there is also a beer courtyard with a huge tree growing in the centre that makes dining a really special experience. We’re committed to helping you feel confident as you get back out there. At the time of my visit I was the only „beer customer“ in the shop although there were a couple of people with automotive problems. Decent food.

The town of Röttingen is truly full of riches, including a multitude of stones ...Because sundials only count the hours when it’s bright, things must be particularly bright on fine days in Röttingen! Hours are a bit too limited, but a good place to stop for a wide variety. Ok Rewe selection. Food pairing, tasters and somelier assistence provided.
Service in the garden was very friendly and attentive. It uses the average price of all user prices, so the more users who set the price, the more accurate it should be! Moderately slow service, but they bring you whatever you have ordered, without having to ask you about the details again. Had a nice sausage for lunch. Upmarket deli/galeria downstairs in the store. Food menu has snacks and full meals, there are vegetarians options as well and recently they opened up a pizza shop right next door so plenty of beer and food options. Great selection of both domestic and imported craft beer.
Also place is overpopulated. Prices are cheap. Excellent selection throughout the styles.
The whole place is a bit like a time warp. Not sure where the cider is made. Traditional Bavarian feel. Was starting to get busy when I left about 7pm, having had a very pleasurable 3 or so hours there. The service is quick and efficient.
Sat outside on a very hot evening. Frequently visited by locals, picking up a bottle to go or drink in front of the shop. Sadly none of the expansion went to extra shelf space.
And outside the city walls, with their seven remaining well-preserved fortified towers, something quite different attracts us: a unique landscape of vineyards, gentle hills, orchards and stone structures. Lots of high stools around the bar that is all along the main back wall serving draught beers from eight taps plus flights available and around 90 German craft bottled beers. Over 250 ciders are available to choose from, with perhaps 30 or so available in 0.1l or 0.2l size and the rest as full bottles to drink in or take out. Not much chance of me claiming this back ftom the insurance though. Nice quaint little place, wooden decoration, old school, nice place to drink/eat.
