The Park District opposed this & the judge ruled there would be NO jury trial - he would decide. In Dec. 2015 then Park District/Board evicted the group from the Museum. The uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and how it could affect Quincy Park District finances led to the rejection of bids for the construction of a new maintenance facility in All America Park. The Park District took MVHAC to court to get the building in Jan 2016; MVHAC pd the fee to have a JURY trial.
Museum consisted of over 30 Antique Autos, Trucks, a Horse Drawn Hearse, a midget racing car and various automotive items to include a small toy car collection. In 2017 MVHAC lost the Unjust Enrichment Case.

The MVHAC is a not-for-profit organization, which started in 1958 and built and opened the Antique Auto Museum in 1968 in All-America Park on Front Street (Bonasinga Drive), next to the Mississippi River, in Quincy.
