I followed older Aerosmith songs, but have never know much about Tyler. Little bit of edge to the humour or crude and cruel slamming...what could be termed as bullying.I, too, agree with Nigel... LIGHTEN UP! No one is making you watch Idol. How did he become a celebrity, much less a judge. I had gone one year to support my girlfriend at the time. Tyler and Lopez have got me buzzed to tune in again.

Each of the judges bring their own "special sauce" and thats what makes the show so good!! Like others have suggested, if you don't like the show....change the channel Ozzy + Steven = Tons of drugs..look at their faces....hands shaking....Love Steven Tyler !!!!

I absolutely thought this was going to be the very last season after lasts year. My husband and I haven't missed an episode, we love Steven and his antics. Trying to shut people up seems to be the current infectious rash afflicting America. Steve is sometimes weird, but he certainly adds a great energy to the group. Lighten up! His off-the-cuff remarks occasionally veered toward seamy.
I'm sure it will become much more serious when they all start to get in the real compaction and I look forward to it.Like Steven Tyler. I'ts the general public that feel the need to vilify someone.
